Carico: How To Be A Carico Top Producer

If you seek to become a top earner in Carico, the way to do it is to implement a promotional plan that puts your message in fromt of thousands of people – not merely a handful of friends, family members and people you know.

It’s imperative you master the basics of marketing- like any real business.

Here are 3 strategies 7-figure income earners use to build network marketing empires today:

Carico Strategy #1: Out-Promote The Competition

Top producers often market more prolifically than everyone else.

How well you implement the basic network marketing activities (generating leads, following up, presentation) will influence the results you create.

But it’s also true that the QUANTITY of your activities makes as much of a difference, or more than, the level of skill you apply to each task.

Outpromoting others in your niche means attracting more website visitors and creating a greater number of leads on a regular basis than others.

If you’re marketing with content, then go ahead and put up a larger number of articles, video clips, and blog entries than others promoting your opportunity.

If you are advertising, then it’s best to place a larger number of ads, in more places, than your competition.

If you are doing webinars to pitch your business then it’s best to do multiple webinars just about every week. Not once every month or so.

Marketing more than everyone else means that you email your list useful tactics (and a call to action!) to your list of leads each day. Not sometimes. Every day!

Get an edge by just plain DOING MORE MARKETING, FOLLOW UP ACTIVITIES AND DOING MORE WEBINARS than your competitors.

If you attract more traffic, generate a larger number of leads, and do more presentations than others in your niche, you will probably generate more income than your competitors.

Carico Strategy #2: Focus On Marketing More Than Duplication

Traditionally, network marketers are taught to keep their business-building activities extremely simple and “duplicatable” by others in their downline..

How effective is this strategy to keep everything simple so other can duplicate it? For a small minority of marketers, this approach works well.

But for the extreme majority of multilevel marketers in companies like Carico, keeping everything allegedly “duplicatable” does NOT lead to high levels of duplication. This is ironic but true.

Check out these facts:

• Only about 1 in 5 people in your downline will sponsor anyone else.
• Of those that do sponsor people, most will only sponsor 2-3 people total.
• The remaining 80% of your downline won’t ever do a darn thing.

The “keep everything duplicatable” strategy that network marketers in Carico are taught (like some ancient gospel) actually only causes 20% of the people to sponsor anyone. And they tend to sponsor a tiny number of people!

Keeping everything you do “duplicatable” will NOT maximize your Carico income and it also creates problems few talk about.

The most common way to “keep it simple” is to approach family and friends and present the Carico business opportunity to them. This method is called “warm market recruiting”. For decades network marketers have been teaching this strategy not because it’s the best but because its the most simple. But simple does not mean effective!

Warm market recruiting can lead people to quit. Once people run out of others to talk to within the first 30-90 days, they will often quit because they have NO CLUE how to perform the one activity they must rely on to build a business: advertising and marketing to generate consistent lead flow.

The other problem warm marketing recruiting creates is the strategy can push away the best prospects. Ideal prospects for a Carico business are people with transferable skills and large personal and professional networks. Real estate professionals, professional salespeople, executives and other business people fit this category, but these people tend NOT to want to approach family and friends about their opportunity, Many professionals want to protect their reputation and do NOT want to introduce their friends and colleagues to an opportunity that they just got started with such as Carico.

Should you start your Carico business with warm market recruiting? Yes. But you must learn to market in order to build a real business because you WILL run out of leads. Your best prospects are likely going to want to market their business professionally, not pester friends at cocktail parties.

Learn to market online and you can grow a Carico business with less duplication, while you attract higher caliber prospects into your business.

If only a few high caliber team members learn to market Carico online, you could build a very large Carico organization.

Carico Strategy #3: Solve Your Attrition Problem

More than 80 percent of the people in your Carico organization will quit the business within the first year. Attrition is one of the biggest problems Carico marketers face.

People in companies such as Carico are usually taught two methods to solve their attrition issue. Method one is to assist new Carico distributors to make money right away, so they get an early taste of success and want to stick around. The second approach is to get your Carico downline members to feel part of the “team”, something bigger than themselves, so they want to stay part of the group. Carico team webinars, live training events, and getting on the phone with your new people can all foster a team experience.

I have tried both of these methods. Though they are common, they are far less effective than you’d expect in stopping attrition for people in Carico. Worse, these strategies actually create several new problems.

When you attempt to help EVERY new rep in your organization get into profit quickly, you spend LOTS of time helping your worst-performing new reps, the people who can’t sponsor anyone by themselves. This takes focus away from your best people, the top 20% of your downline that will drive 80% of all your income. By focusing on the wrong people, you foster dependency.

The other approach is to create a sense of team loyalty among your team through live events, team conference calls, etc. This takes up enormous amounts of time and can also make your people dependent on you. Many of your weaker-performing team members will end up sticking around because they like being part of the team. But these people will NOT sponsor others by themselves routinely into Carico and will require LOTS of team support in order to stay in the game.

You’re a business owner, not a group therapist. Focus your support efforts on the people consistently sponsoring others, NOT on everyone on your team.

A contrarian but effective approach to the attrition problem is to revise your business model not to boost retention, but rather to make retention much less important. To make retention less important to your business, promote affiliate products that can easily add a dozen or more new streams of income. By diversifying your revenue sources, you are not as reliant on Carico for income. When you depend less on your downline for income, attrition matters less.

A second way to make attrition less important is to promote a high ticket opportunity that pays commission of $1,000-$7,000 per sale. Traditional network marketing opportunities like Carico pay out only about $60-$120 per new signup, so you must develop a large team and residual check to make a substantial income. When you earn $1,000+ per sign up, you effectively earn 2-3 years worth of residuals up front, regardless whether your new signup endures for 6 days or 6 years. This approach makes attrition almost irrelevant to your business!

Solve your attrition problem by relying less on your Carico downline. Diversify your revenue and increase your up-front income. Promote a high ticket opportunity that pays a commission of $1,000 or more, and promote affiliate products.
